An MA is a PG-level degree course that you cannot pursue after Class 12. You'll need to obtain a Bachelor level degree (BA, for instance) to be eligible for an MA program. Once you complete your graduation in a certain discipline, you'll get clarity on which MA specialisation you wish to choose, because there are a bunch of options. For example, History, Geography, Economics, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, German, French, Psychology, Political Science, and so on.
