Can you refer some good books to prepare for stenographer skill test?

In two months, it is about impossible if you have to start from scratch. But if you have completed the learning course then it is definitely possible although it might be hard. What I would like to recommend is that you take dictations daily without fail from Progressive Shorthand monthly magazine which is really very helpful as far as skill test is concerned. The pattern of taking dictation should be like this- (If you are alone and practice by recording the matter in mobile) Record the matter for 10 minds. At your present shorthand speed a night before. If the exercise which you are recording is finished before 10 minds don't stop and read out the next exercise as well. Take dictation the next day and transcribe it and mark your mistakes and do count them as well. Strive to make mistakes not more than 5%. Also pay attention to where you have to put punctuation marks esp. Comma and full stop; others don't matter. They don't say full stop or paragraph while giving dictation. You have to understand them. If they stop for 2-3 seconds then it is paragraph otherwise it's full stop. Put comma before (If they are in between the sentence) and after therefore and however. Commas are also put at places where there are more than one proper nouns or common nouns like name of fruits, etc. Download VLC media player in your mobile if you can because it plays the same mp3 file at different speeds as per one's choice and need. Now after all the process aforementioned, first of all highlight the tough words of the matter and practice them once or twice or thrice as per your need and wish and also make a separate register where you can note down those rarely occurring hard words and phrases with their respective outlines for revision afterwards before exam. Now write the same matter again at the original speed after going through it and you will feel better and don't transcribe now. After practicing 2-3 times increase the speed by at least 10 wpm and try to write it again. In a week or so your comfortable speed will be up by 5-10 wpm. Try to finish all the exercises of 7-8 magazines in this way of whichever year or month. If possible take dictation from others as well. If you have joined some institute for this then great but do practice other exercises as well apart from what is given as homework. You can also practice from Kailash Chandra book or G. D. Bisht's book.
