In LPU, faculty members are not only nurtures the student's academic domain, at the same time they always take care of student's all round growth towards excellence. Being an alumni of LPU let me share some of the facts about LPU faculty members which I had managed to fetched from the database during my study. Dear Sameeksha, It's totally up to you that what kind of impression you are going to create in your college and how active and how much hunger you have to grab the opportunities, Some students had a bad experience at their colleges probably due to their attitude towards their academics and other things. No wonder you are going to blame your University if you will not study for the entire semester and will not participate in the things provided to you by the University for your betterment. As far as I know, LPU is so far the best Private University in India, I'm saying so because a lot of my relatives who graduated from LPU got success in their life and they always recommend others to go for LPU for graduation and higher studies. Some of them even got placed in companies like Amazon, SAP, L'Real India, Federal Bank, and more. They always tell me that how good and supportive their faculty members were and how LPU helped them in achieving their goals by providing them proper guidance, industry level training, a better study environment, separate placement classes, and what not. I never found those guys criticizing LPU for anything, in fact, they all enjoy remembering those days they spent in LPU and all the fun they used to do during events and late-night studies, and much more. I don't understand why few students start blaming their university due to their bad experience which is only due to the lack of their interest and because of no participation which shouldn't happen, You should have the strive to grab the opportunities ! Hello there, I think I can help you with this, as I am pursuing a Bachelor in journalism and mass communication from LPU itself, to be very honest, in my experience, LPU faculty members are highly qualified and most of them are PHDs holder, well it's not a wonder because in LPU most of the faculty members are from IITs, NIT s and GATE qualified. Some of them have even published their 3-4 research papers Most of them also have postdoctoral degrees from renowned foreign universities. I remember my soft skills teacher who was assigned for our placements classes, she had her degree in MBA from a foreign university, similarly, my professors are senior editors and journalists from Times of India, some are from India Today. And it's not only about faculty members, LPU even invites prestigious people from respective industries for delivering guest lectures, recently I had a workshop with the Press Trust of India chief editor. Besides that faculty members are very humble and understanding, assignments, and projects we get from them are kind of prepares us for industry demands. As an alumni I must say that LPU has the best of the faculty in terms of domain, knowledge and experience. Let me share rest of the details in regards to it. There are around 2000 faculty members in the university. They have experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. The faculty members have been going to foreign university for Teaching and research projects. Check International Tie-up directory for names&get; They believe in continuous and over all development of our faculty. So we conduct faculty development programmes on regular basis. Our faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level They have recruited faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 73 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also.

I have spent 4 years for my graduation and as per my experience LPU faculty is really well experienced, supportive, and last but not least they understand the students. During my graduation, I never faced any disappointments from the faculty side. They have great knowledge and their way of teaching is really interesting. The best part is that they always helped beyond their job timings I learned from most of the Ph.D. faculty members and they all have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Being a alumni of this University, I would like to answer your query, First of all my experience at LPU was amazing, LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED. There are frequent feedback sessions and suggestions taken of the faculty members from the students on how well they are delivering in the classes. The curriculum is tough at times, but if you understand the system, then it's easy, it is also advanced. Being the alumni of LPU. I would like to share that the faculty members at LPU always burn the midnight oil so that their students outshine in their respective fields as well as careers. LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. Maximum faculty members are PhD's or pursuing the same. One of the most interesting thing is that very recently LPU has propounded an app through which the students could communicate their grievances, discussions or other material could also be uploaded by the professors on it. I believe this is the best platform where the students could at point of time discuss anything to their faculty members. This would also lead to the better understanding between both the levels. Research papers, Book chapters, Patents are playing protagonist in the life of professors so this could also decline the gap between the professors and students. LPU has also collaborated with foreign faculty members, so the students are also getting the opportunities to interact with them.
