The basic eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Nursing are PCB as the stream at 10+2 level Though certain flexibility is given to the students and students who have taken PCM in 10+2 can also apply for this course provided that they fulfill certain conditions. These colleges specify courses intended for non-biology students or additional credits for majors or minors in a biology course.

    1. AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences): The arguments are cogent hence requiring PCB, but provides direction for other streams in related disciplines.

    2. Manipal College of Nursing: Usually requires PCB; PCM students may require other certificates.
