In Telecommunication branch, Profs. are very strict unlike ECE. They stress more upon open ended projects and mini projects.
Syllabus is more or less same as ECE but few changes in higher semesters.
Overall, it's good.
Regarding placements, good number of core companies visit the campus every year.

Yes , the companies do differentiate between tc and ece students.but you are given an opportunity , if you are among the best you will not have a problem.
there are many core telecom companies (eg:TATA teleservices) , but not all come to the college.
