    JNU students pursuing PhD courses have a maximum duration of four years irrespective of whether it is done full-time or part-time. Various fields are covered under The PhD programs including but not limited to Ancient History, African Studies, Arabic and many other specializations. A master’s degree with at least 50% marks is required for eligibility. Selection involves taking a computer-based test and then a viva voce exam. At JNU average tuition fees range from INR 395 up to 1391 depending on the course one is taking.
