One of my cousin who appeared in LPU NEST told that LPU offers various Diploma and Degree Programmes at various levels. LPU NEST is Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test. LPU NEST serves two purposes I. e eligibility and scholarship. The syllabus of LPU NEST varies from course to course but the pattern of LPU NEST is same I. e objective in nature. The subjects for preparing for LPU NEST exam is based on what you have studied in your previous qualification in maximum cases. It is LPU national eligibility and schlorship test. LPU NEST is mandatory or not, This is depend on course to course. So first check the eligibility first of the specific course on LPU website. LPU NEST has two purposes I. e eligibility and scholarship. There are some courses in which LPU NEST is mandatory means you cannot join without giving it whereas there are few courses in which LPU NEST is given for scholarship only. Dear Siraj, LPU NEST is a national level test, which is proctored by LPU as Entrance exam for B.Tech and few other programs but as Scholarship test for all other programs run by the university. The Scholarship based on LPU NEST is the largest such scheme in the country, in last few years more than 50000 students have benefited from these

Lovely Professional University conducts its own test LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and scholarship for most of the programmes. The amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. -

LPU NEST (LPU National Eligibility and Scholarship Test) is a national level entrance test across India. The test is being conducted in two phases that are phase 1 and phase 2. This test aims to admit students in various programmes such as courses like Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Design, Hotel Management and MBA. It is not only the entrance test but it is also a gateway to get a good scholarship. The maximum amount of the scholarship a student can get up to Rs 5 Lacs.
