You can apply to DTU as it accepts lateral entry and is in the heart of the country. These days due to COVID-19 some good universities I have heard like Lovely Professional University has started the process of filling the application forms online only. The universities have molded their admission process to suit the new crisis. Even the universities which were taking entrance exams have started online direct admissions and the entrance test would be taken at a later stage when the government allows the reopening of colleges. The lateral entry scheme is only for the Diploma holder candidates and they will get direct admission in second year. There are some of the universities which conducts entrance examination for the lateral entry candidates and some of the universities allot colleges through counseling which can be done as per their marks in Diploma. In Uttarakhand, the exam name for lateral is UKSEE in Delhi. Indraprastha University conducts exam for lateral entry in Uttar Pradesh. Also, LEET exam is conducted every year You can apply for whatever you are interested in else private colleges used to conduct their own entrance exams. So, you can apply to them by visiting their websites.
