PU MET registration 2025 started on January 2, 2025. The last date of PU MET registration 2025 is April 20, 2025. Earlier, the last date to apply for the PU MET exam 2025 was April 12, 2025, which was later extended. The exam conducting authority, Punjab University has also extended the fee payment window and the deadline to submit the documents online and offline.

Yes, foreign nationals can apply for the PU MET exam through the Office of the Dean International Students. The foreign nationals must have the following documents:

  • Eligibility certificate from the Deputy Registrar (General), Punjab University
  • Academic certificate of passing the qualifying or equivalent examination
  • Test scores of TOEFL/IELTS

NRIs and Foreign Nationals have the seat reservation in different institutes and these seats are inter-changeable. That means, if there are enough vacant seats for NRIs then those can be used by other Foreign nationals.

Yes, there is a fee concession for the students belonging to the reserved category. PU MET 2025 application fee for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories is INR 2710 while, for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the application fee is INR 1,355. The candidates can pay the PU MET application fee online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, and offline as well by downloading the fee challan and submit a printout of it along with the fee amount to any nearest SBI Bank branch.
