There are a thousand options literally. The days of engineering and medicine being the only options for science students is way past history. FINANCE CAREER - CS/CA/ICWA - there are foundation courses to ready you for the course. And then you will need to clear exams. There are coaching institutes to help you with subjects too. People would generally do a B.Com along with it (mostly correspondence /evening college). NIFT -national institute of fashion technology (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.nift.ac.in" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.nift.ac.in</a>) conducts and exam every year to fill up seats in the coveted NIFT's. These are like the IIT's of the fashion world. Pass us get recruited by leading textile industries and fashion brands. NID - National institute of design Ahmedabad - (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.nid.edu" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.nid.edu</a>) they also conduct a national level entrance test and getting admission here is sometimes considered more difficult than the IIT's or IIM's. Graduates from here are considered elite and recruited in almost all industries for design jobs. B.Sc - Physics/ Chemistry/ Maths/ Biology/Computer Science. This is good for pursuing a teaching career in schools. Although you will mostly need to do a Masters after your Bachelor's to stand a chance at that too. Followed by a BEd for being eligible for teaching in schools or clear he NET (national eligibility test) to apply for teaching positions in colleges. You can also do B.Sc in pathology and become a lab technician or do a Masters and join the pharmaceutical industry or hospitals. You can also pursue a research by doing a PhD if you finish you Masters and if you seem to like it. Would recommend you pursue your doctorate in the US or UK. If you change your mind you can also pursue a MA which will set you up for a career in the industry rather than academia. But if you wish to stick to academia you can pursue a fellow programme in management finish your PhD in management and start teaching in b-schools too. IIHM- Indian Institute of hotel management - (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.iihmbpl.com" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.iihmbpl.com</a>) these are the IIT's of the travel and tourism industry. Lots of companies in this industry recruit from here. They also conduct a national level exam to fill up their seats. There's also Bachelor courses in animation and 3D graphics if that interests you. Bachelor's in mass communication , journalism. There are just so many possibilities. World is your oyester.

Hi, After 12th there are so many courses to choose, but if you want to complete your course in short duration then you can take admission in D.Pharmacy so that you will be able to job in pharmacy companies or you can open your own chemist. But if you want to study with full interest and concentration then you can choose BUMS, MBBS, B.Pharmacy, etc.

Apart from engineering, you can opt for M.Sc or B.Sc in any science field from institutes like BITS and NITs. Also, you can pursue a related to fields like animation, fashion design, film making, etc.
