If you are looking government colleges then you have to score good rank in JEE main. If you get under rank 40000 in JEE Mains you can definitely secure seat in good NIT or IIIT but if you are looking for GFTI then you have to get rank under 100k in JEE mains.

I will suggest you to prepare for JEE Mains and get MNIT Jaipur. Because MNIT Jaipur is one among the top NIT's of India.
Infact, I am pursuing my B.Tech in civil engineering from the same institute.
