    I would suggest it would be IIT, Kharagpur the primary years in IIT encompasses both agricultural and food engineering. So, moving on the other renowned options will be NIFTEM, Haryana as it gives you a lot of options for the graduate studies in food technology and bifurcations like process engineering, safety and quality etc. As well as prepares you for industrial exposure. However, another set up by MOFPI (Ministry of food processing industries) is IICPT, Thanjavur.
