Can you suggest some colleges to apply for B.Tech in computer science engineering? My profile: 10th-10 CGPA and 12th-66.2% (science).

Hello Abhijeet, It is very nice and interesting to see that you have set your target to become B.Tech in Computer Sciences. Yes your question looks quite genuine since many students are not aware to which college you can apply. But first let me clarify some issues. As per your marks of 12th I'm afraid you can't think of joining any NIT or IIT since the eligibility to appear for JEE Mains is minimum 75%. Okay that should not discourage you since the states do not follow this and I am sure your state also would have plenty of colleges which are offering Computer Science as a branch. You need to appear for the entrance exam prescribed by your state for admissions to engineering colleges. After you have successfully completed this examination, will be placed in a merit list and as per your merit you will be granted the branch across your state in any of the colleges. Here comes the crunch. In almost all the states majority of students are giving computer Science or IT as the first preference and for getting this branch you will need to have a percentile of at least 90 in this entrance exam.
