Most popular colleges or universities for biotechnology are:University of Hyderabad-School of Life Sciences, University of Mumbai-Institute of Chemical Technology, National Dairy Research Institute Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology School of Allied Medical Sciences, Lovely Professional University Delhi Technological University-Department of Biotechnology,Indian Institute of Technology-Department of Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology, Delhi University Banaras Hindu University Jawaharlal Nehru University of Mumbai Most of them conduct entrance, but you can inquire the same from them or can ask if they give direct admission on the basis of Boards' performance.

For B.Sc, you do not have to write any entrance exam. You can choose an autonomous college. The fee structure is around Rs.25, 000 per year.
