Can you suggest some government colleges to pursue B.Tech except for IITs and NITs?

I would suggest you go with NIST if you want good environment.

There are lots of government colleges to pursue B.Tech. HNBGU-Uttarakhand, NEHU-Shillong and Central University of Haryana are the central universities. You can also take admission in state government colleges like THDC-Tehri, Anna University-Chennai, etc.
