Being studied at LPU I would like to say that LPU has a very simple admission process when it comes to Ph.D. For admission to Ph.D. the criteria are 55% aggregates marks in your Masters and you have to qualify interview along with LPU NEST. Also, LPU is the only university in India that gives multiple coursework options for Ph.D. (Part-time) students. LPU follows the eligibility norms very stringently, so the research scholar has to fulfill the criteria. LPU offers flexible coursework options-
    1) Classes on weekends (Saturday & Sunday only)
    2) 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)
    3)15 days course work

    Hello Manish,
Part-time Ph.D- As per my understanding and information, Ph.D is not regular college work. One works with guide to carry out research on a given topic in ones free time. Hence, it's in a way part-time only!
