Can you suggest some of the best colleges for engineering? How can I get admission there now?

I am a 1-st year student of B.Tech and want to join a better college for it which is why I planned to appear for JEE Mains but its application date is over. I have scored 97% in my intermediate and am even interested in appearing for SAT.
