4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepared to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you.
5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives.

Although there have been numerous colleges and courses under B.Tech that could offer one a job easily in the present time across the country. But as per my findings, I must say that Lovely Professional University is the best place for B.Tech civil engineering. But as per my findings, I must say that Lovely Professional University is the best place for B.Tech civil engineering.
