Can you tell about MBA in detail?

MBA/PGDM gets preference over other qualifications in corporate jobs across most of the industry domains because MBAs understand the language of business. In most of the functions, which are keys to survival for an organization in any industry domain, understanding of the language of business is very important. Functions like Marketing, Human Resources Management and Finance Management is the key to the survival of an organization. This does not mean that production and operations are less important. But at least in Marketing and Human Resources Management, MBA/PGDM is an essential qualification. Finance functions can do with CAs but then again there are not enough CAs to fill in the huge requirement of finance professionals in the country. By the language of business, we mean certain particular terms and concepts which are essential for one to know in managing a business appropriately. By business here, I mean large scale businesses. A small businessman can do without these business terms and concepts but managers of large-scale businesses cant. Terms and concepts like branding, ROI, marginal cost, value, product lifecycle, retention, and net worth are essential in running such businesses and these are not understood well by non-MBAs. Any AICTE & AIU approved PGDM which is equivalent to MBA has 2 years duration. MBA stands for Masters in business administration. It is a two-year course which gives a student exposure to the corporate world. In the two years of MBA program, you would be getting enough time to polish your skills and improve on your weak points. The basic aim of MBA is to make students corporate ready so that whenever they enter into an organization as a manager he would be suitable for that role. MBA is very useful and acts as a catalyst in your career. People with work experience have a great future in MBA as experienced people are preferred in the corporate world because of the knowledge and manners that they would have got in these years of work. MBA/MMS is a program run by universities while PGDM is a postgraduate course which is almost similar to MBA. MBA students are preferred in the corporate world as they have the knowledge of 2 years of MBA behind them.

MBA - Master of Business Administration is a Post Graduate course which can provide you with a career jump and gives you a holistic approach to look at business related decisions. You can be a graduate from any background to opt for MBA. You just need to be sure of the question, "Why MBA?" After doing a particular graduate course. Most sorted exams for best B-Schools are CAT, GMAT, XAT, and CMAT. It's worth to do an MBA only if you get into top B-Schools, otherwise, it won't really make a difference in your life. MBA teaches you to convert your ideas into reality and to generate revenue (make money) out of it. It also makes you eligible for amazing profiles in famous companies.
