Can you tell me about aeronautical engineering?

It is a nice course that usually deals with all aspects of aviation. It is different from Mechanical Engineering in many ways such that these are not considered equivalent. Different universities have different syllabus, but the core is usually same. Aerodynamics, Materials etc. are some common subjects you will study.

Aerospace engineers typically specialize in one of two types of engineering: aeronautical or astronautically. Aeronautical engineers work with aircraft. They are involved primarily in designing aircraft and propulsion systems and in studying the aerodynamic performance of aircraft and construction materials.
