You can opt for any engineering college which is AICTE, UGC recognized and have good placement records. As an engineering student, I can say that college doesn't matter nowadays if you are looking for IT sectors. For a govt. job, you need to crack GATE exam no matter whichever college or university you belong to. But for your information, go to the govt. site NIRF ranking on MHRD site.

IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Mumbai are best in India as well as are the top 3 colleges of engineering in India. For abroad there are California Institute of technology, Oxford University of London & UK.
