There has been a little dip in number of CE aspirants because some other streams are thought to be more glamorous. Due to this dip, the number of passing grads is also low, so the scope is immense. When the economy in last 28 years is going full steam, the entire landscape of the country has seen a sea change. Dear Gaya, Lovely Professional University is one of the best institutes for engineering in the state of Punjab. So if a degree in B.Tech (Civil engineering) is what you seek, I suggest that you do consider LPU. I have sound reasons to actually make this suggestion. Actually I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how.
