National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a gateway test in our country to start career as Lecturers or Assistant Professors in various Colleges, Universities and other Educational Institutions. UGC NET and JRF both are conducted by the UGC and are held at the same time, in fact both have same question papers but the qualifying marks are higher for clearing JRF. These are two different ranks allocated after clearing UGC NET exam. You are eligible for this exam once you complete your Master'
