Get some simple topic finalized among the group like "Problems of Indian youth", "Does India need foreign help", "Is TV a menace" etc. GD will check your communication ability, knowledge of topic given, creativity, analytical approach, logicality, ability to present ideas, and innovativeness. It is speech, and not speed which matters in a GD. It will also test your leadership qualities like initiative, ability to handle difference in opinion, ability to make decision, ability to listen, ability to support a correct statement made by someone else, ability to cooperate with others and also maintain your own identity in a competitive atmosphere. With the passage of time and practice, you will improve yourself considerably in putting forth your ideas in a better manner.
