Can you tell me as why I wasn't selected for JU for the 1st round of counselling with 530 rank in WBJEE (SC category)?

I think you were thinking that you will get a seat alloted in Jadavpur University based on your SC category rank. It is false.
Admissions in JU for SC/ST category are done through the general rank. SC/ST students cut-off is different. -
