Can you tell me average package offered for marketing in 2016 and 2017 for Xavier institute of management and research?

The college website didn't publish detailed placement report.On college website average package is mentioned as Rs 6.5 lakhs. Is this true ? What is highest, median and lowest for marketing ?

Hi Pratik,
For 2016 the average packages were Rs 4 - Rs 5 lakhs per annum. Marketing packages are usually on the higher side, so they'll be on the upper side of that range. The 2017 placements are still underway so cannot ascertain the final average but the average so far has been around Rs 5 lakhs per annum. Placement season picked up slower than usual this year as a result of demonetisation and preponing of the budget.

At starting, you will be provided with Rs 3-5 lakhs per annum but if you perform well in your academics and interview, then it may extend also.
