Can you tell me the importance of international business? I am confused with International marketing and marketing.

Hello Debashish, There is a little to distinguish between the two courses since Business is a broader course & covers Marketing within it, still the viable definition is: International Business covers all of the topics that one engages in trade across borders needs to know . Some of the key constraints are culture, laws and regulations, strategies vis-a-vis marketing or investment or currency transactions. International business is the field most favored by practitioners as is broader in nature. International Marketing This course explores the complexity and diversity faced by marketers when operating in the highly competitive world marketplace. It will give you the knowledge, skills and practical experience you need to pursue opportunities with international organisations in areas such as strategic marketing planning, market research, marketing communications and brand management. Other than earning foreign currency for our country, International Business promotes the growth of companies in our country. It stresses the importance of networking and interaction at an international level at the same time helps business diversification. International business also helps spread business risks, promotes intercultural interaction, improves competition and helps improve organisational efficiency and profits. Ideas are shared and resources are utilised at an optimum level to enhance survival.
