Can you tell your admission journey to DTU? In which counseling you got your seat?

My journey for admission in DTU started from 2015 (the year I completed my 12th). I appeared for JEE mains exam, got my result, got very dissatisfied with my JEE mains result as I didn’t qualify the general cutoff, however I qualified the required reservation cutoff, so I applied for JAC counseling, kept mechanical of DTU at my first choice, when the result of first round came, I was allotted seat in ICE in NSIT, I was not much aware about that branch at that time. I didn’t pay the seat allotment fees, so I was terminated to appear for next rounds. So I decided to take a drop. I prepared myself and gave JEE again in 2016. Cracked JEE with general cutoff this time and again, kept mechanical branch at first preference and boom I got it in the first round of counseling.
