    Yes Zoology graduates can apply for inspector exam. Basically graduate for any stream can apply for this. UPSC State pcs and other police recruitment exam only wants a graduation degree from recognize university. If you want to specific field like food inspector etc. Here can be there different criteria depends on requirements of the post but in case of normal inspector defiantly you can apply.

    Aspirants possesing any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply for UPSC All India Food Inspector Exam
    1) Graduates in medicine with one year training in food inspection.
    2)Bachelors degree in Science stream with Chemistry as a compulsory.
    3)Bachelor degree in Agriculture or Public Health or Veterinary Science or Dairy Technology or Pharmacy or Food Technology
    Candidates possesing any degree equivalent to those given above are eligible to apply.
