Career in law after BBA and 2 years of experience in Retail Banking operations at Axis Bank
I am a BBA Graduate (2011, 64%) working with Axis Bank, but I have decided to become a lawyer, kindly help me find the path of success and list of colleges and how to get in there.

We have law schools admitting students through All India entrance exams like CLAT for National Law Schools/Universities, LLB Entrance Tests for Delhi University, and law colleges admitting students on merit, that is, secured in qualifying examinations. Three-year LLB entrance exams: There is no upper age-limit for admission. However a candidate must be at least 17 years of age on the date of application. A graduation degree with 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is the basic qualification required. Universities like DU and BHU require minimum 50% marks while universities like Kurukshetra, Rohtak, Meerut require only 45% marks in graduation. Law is a career which requires loads of patience and logical skills. First generation lawyers particularly face numerous problems in their profession as is true of every other profession. It becomes easier if one trains under a Senior Counsel in the beginning of their career. Law Specializations: Criminal Law Corporation Law Civil Law Tax Law Labour Law Real Estate Law Lawyers are also required in corporate companies as well as government set ups. You can work with a senior lawyer to gain hands-on experience in different specializations such as corporate, labour, consumer, fundamental rights and telecom law.
