There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artis

I think Media and Communication is often confused with just Journalism. Today there are more than 30 job options/careers in Media.
