There should be a simultaneous improvement in the quality of your English.It is not merely getting a Degree and a qualification.

Well there are plenty of things you can do after studying English Literature. Careers in publishing require people with backgrounds in English very often. You can go into the fields of journalism, and translation; script/novel/play writing if you have a creative flair and an interest in writing
