IT is a lucrative job field. It is offering lakhs of jobs every year. If one has an expertise in IT S/he can get a good job easily depending upon his/her education, technical skills and understanding of technology - both theoratical and practical.
Software Engineer/Programmer is an entry level job. You must have a degree and specialisation in one or more technologies like JAVA or .Net etc. Salary packages offered are good. -
