The median annual salary of a copywriter is 47,838 dollars, but 80% of the copywriters earn between 35,000 dollars to 65,000 dollars. There is a difference between the salary of a junior copywriter and a senior copywriter by minimum 16,000 dollars per year.

A Bachelor’s degree in advertising, writing or marketing as well as in relative field is sufficient for becoming a copywriter. Many colleges and universities offer a four-year degree program with a prior concentration in advertising. 

A bachelor degree in the field of journalism, English or communication is also enough in the process of becoming a copywriter. 

Then further, you need to gain experience and advance forward with that experience. These experiences can come from school, college papers, and internships or other related programs.

There is no such hard and fast rule that you have to have a postgraduate degree in any stream to pursue a career of copywriting.
