If, while still a student , you feel that you are perfectly suited to marketing, and your teachers and seniors (working professionals) also say so, then you are cut out for marketing, and can be chosen in a good company at any time you wish.
However, then, you should enter a work life of FINANCE, and put marketing in the backseat. When you have spent some time in that field, enter the field of HR, still thinking about your first love--marketing. When you have spent some time in HR, start applying for a marketing jopb. You will then be a better marketing man--better than others. -

Hi to all fellow advisors. The steps which have been concluded by Mr Rahman are 100% correct to get a career but to reach such clarity and maturity is a very difficult process. The 3 simple steps should be;
1. To evaluate your ownself and find out what kind of work makes you happy.
2. To further evaluate and find out how much inherent skills ( conceptual skills) you have for the work of your interest.
3. To plan and work on strategy for brushing up and enhancing those inherent skills to higher level related to the work of your interest, simultaneous to your formal education in it. -

Choosing a right career is always a very confusing task, and it demands good amount of brainstorming and research before finalizing a particular career.
Before finalizing any career, a student must first known what they wish to do in life, how are they going to achieve their goals, once all this clear then a final decision regarding a career should be taken.
Students should never opt for a career just because their friends or relatives are making good money, in a particular career.
Should should always opt for a career in which they have their interest.I would request aru.chopra Manmeet Kaur50173 to share their valuable opinion. -

Thanks Aneeket for the invitation to the discussion. I would say the step mentioned can just be a jist of things you can do for choosing your career but it definitely is not that easy as rightly said by Anjani, students need to start thinking from 9th standard and as I always say one very important thing which he/she should keep in mind while taking any decision is his/her interests and career aspirations.
