Civil service after Bachelor of Arts in English

I have completed Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Calcutta. I want to prepare for UPSC and my target is IAS. As English is not there within the 25 optional subjects of the main exam, which subject should I take and prepare for? Please suggest.
