am bascially intrested to write civil services.so can i know the time gap between prelims and main examinations?

Hi Surya,
As correctly mentioned by Suryap2012, the CSAT i.e the prelim papers happen in May- June where as the mains start in October each year. Again, these are not the accurate information and are subject of change as per the notification.

prelims is generally in june and mains in october. so there is a gap of 4 months.
