cleared NIU entrance exam nt no stipend is provided, shouldn't student get stipend when it is recognized and regular degree . is it fair?

i have limited information about PhD could you please explain me why some universities dont provide stipend to students for research work? is it allowed ? or its wrong?

Hi Shweta, Well the norms for stipends vary for different colleges and universities. And there is nothing wrong if some of the universities are not paying. Good Luck.
