Hi, In order to pursue Phd, from universities abroad, you need to first of all make a list of the universities that you aspire for, then send emails to respective course department, asking them to provide you the eligibility criteria and selection procedure for PHD students. It may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor. The general eligibility criteria for PHD students are as follows : In majority of the institutes, Master's Degree is an essential pre-requisite for a Ph.D. while others admit graduates too. It is important that you have good scores in common entrance tests such as GRE and English Language examinations like TOEFL. Internships or other work experience will add to your qualifications. Ph.D. course work essentially includes research and documentation work. This requires large amounts of money. Hi Mehul, In order to pursue a PhD you need to first prepare your research proposal and send it to the university. In your proposal you need to write the topic, reason for doing research, how the research will be beneficial and how is it different from other researches. Also, you need to mention how you will progress during the research and the duration you might need to achieve the milestones you have set. If the university accepts your proposal you will be asked to send in your documents after which you will get the offer letter. Then meeting all the requirements you can begin with the visa process. To approach a University you must contact the dean or the professor at the University. Also, I would like to say that education in Germany is government funded so there is a possibility that your complete research might can sponsored or you might have to give a minimal fee of 140-500 euros.
