criteria for writing cat...and what are other prospective than CAT?

i have a 60% in 10th and 49% in pu science...i am having 60% aggregate in my 4 th sem bbm...am i eligible to write cat?? what are other good options to do mba..if i cant succesfully clear my CAT exams? . does distance and correspondence have value..will it fetch me good job?
