CRL: 33k OBC: 8110, HS: Jharkhand. Getting Mech at NIT JSR and CSE at UIET Chandigarh, HBTU and at new IIIT. Parents 1st love and CS 2nd.
My home is 10km from NIT JSR. I'm confused. If I will choose NIT JSR mech then I will be with my family and I can also work in TATA STEEL 2km from my home but will loose CSE. If I will choose CSE in any other college then I will loose my family for forever as their is no IT comp in Jamshedpur. HELP!

3 years agoHello Prabhat Ranjan, going away from home for pursuing studies usno big deal. I am sure your parents also won't mind. You must try to convince them that it's best to study what their son likes. Suppose you do mechanical staying at home and then a big company offers you job in USA or UK, will you not go?
