Currently the USA will giving the visa for 2 years instead of 5 years. I'm interested to go there. Is it true?

I'm currently studying final year B.tech in ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA. I'm interested to study MS in US. I written GRE and I got 290. I have a threat that " I HEARD RECENTLY THE VISA WILL GIVING 2 YEARS FOR STUDENTS INSTEAD OF 5 YEARS." please , tell me how many years the visa will be issued currently?

Hi Kiran, firstly understand that you will be issued a student visa that is the F-1 visa only after you have been offered admission from a university. Secondly visa validity depends on the course duration mentioned on your I-20 and a lot on the visa officer. For MS courses which lasts for one year t
