If u r planning to do Oracle DBA then I would like to mention one thing clear to u that Oracle can be installed on Windows as well as on Linux as well. How long u can make away ur computers from viruses? How many Anti-virus u will install for protecting ur computer? As Antivirus get installed in ur computer ur computer get slow. Am i right? Do u think that All the servers might be running on Windows? if so how much speed u will get in the network solution where so many persons u getting attached? NEGATIVE POINTS: 1) Odd Working Hours 2) You have to be extremely good at what you do, because data is very important for company. 3) It's not an entry-level job. 4) Type of database you have worked for.
