Hi Murtaza I am trying to answer your query as good as i can and will also request aru.chopra to address this query. 1) BCA => Scope: A BCA program is the first important step for higher studies especially MCA. It prepares a student for IT and other professions either directly related or after higher studies. BCA provides a student with the much needed exposure of Computer Language applications and prepares a student for a Masters program in Computer Applications (MCA). Job Prospects: BCA gives a student with a solid platform to further his career in the field of technology but it is strongly recommended that a student should opt for MCA to further his prospects in this competitive world. After completing BCA students can start as Junior Programmer or a Software Tester and then move higher up the ranks and attain the role of a Senior Programmer. IT industry is booming in India and even in times of global recession, the Indian scene was relatively stable. 2) Bsc IT => A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, (abbreviated B.Sc IT or B.Sc IT), is a bachelor’s degree awarded for the completion of an undergraduate course or program in information technology. A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program typically lasts three to four years. This degree is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, and networking. In general computer science degrees tend to focus on the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing rather than emphasizing specific technologies. Career Scope after B.Sc IT One amongst the most chosen courses in India is the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) course. The job opportunities available for one who have completed his studies in this sector are numerous. This undergraduate level academic degree allows one to get a fundamental idea about the subject concerned. Students of B.Sc also have the opportunity to get jobs with banks. But they will need to appear for the entrance test that is carried by each of the individual banks as to get recruited into the post they wish to enter. Advise => BCA deals with theoretical aspect of computer knowledge and Bsc IT deals with Practical Aspect. In some case BCA is better than Bsc IT. Take any graduation Degree as per ur convenience and simultaneously enhance ur technical ability by availing some Global Certifications like CCNA+RHCSA+RHCE. So that ur efforts of time and money will not get vanished which u have already invested.
