Dear experts, what is the validity of Diploma certificates which are issued by Independent institues which are not covered under UGC .

Hi Neha, There are two main educational bodies which generally give recognition to the Institute or programme one is UGC and the other is AICTE so if the programme is approved by either of the two then it is valid programme. However, even if it is not approved by these educational bodies it doesn't mean that the programme is not valid or you won't be able to get the job on this basis, but it would be difficult to get into government jobs and you will face difficulty in case you plan for higher studies. Hi Neha, The validity of Diploma Certificates issued under different Educational bodies varies. Few which are of professional nature like NCFM Certifications are restricted to certain extent whereas normal academic Diplomas are valid for an infinite duration. Feel free to raise more questions.
