dear sir i did my graduation in philosophy and now i am doing master's in english literature. can i do Bed, specializing in english and become a english teacher?

Hi Binu,
You most definitely can do B.Ed and become an English Teacher but only uptill Higher Secondary level; if you are planning to become a lecturer then you need to opt for NET after completing your Masters degree.

It depends on your career aspirations. Most of the schools and colleges ask for B.ED , if you want to enter the teaching line, at that level. My suggestion to you, would be to think of doing a professional program, from British Council. The other option, is to do your MBA and then pursue your PH.D.
