Dear prasanta, i will suggest u to do regular B.E/B.TECH, because in the future distance b.tech are having very few scopes and values in the industry as well as in the post grauduade studies. so better do regular b.e/btech. there is a vast oppurtunities for b.tech(mechanical) regular in india as wel

Try for IITs . if their fees are not affordable (which is lac rs per year approx) then go for NITs . and if their fees also higher for you then try govt colleges of Kerala (6000 rs per yr) and if they are also not affordable then govt colleges of gujarat (1500 rs per yr)
