dear sir/maa'm I am a B.COM Final year student at Berhampur University.I want to know about the difference between MBA,MFC & PGDBM.

    Dear Dinesh;
    MBA (Masters of Business Administration) & MFC (Masters of Financs & Controll) both are degree programs offered by universities or through university affiliated colleges(where ever applicable) ,unlike PGDBM -which is diploma only.
    MFC Concentrates only on Finance & Controll (simply corporate accounting) but MBA has almost 30 spetiolizations like HR,Marketing,Logistics,Petrolium Management,Aviation Mgmt.etc. Where as PGDBM may also have same spetiolizations.
    Working domain for MBA & PGDBM are unlimited; at the same time that of MFC is confined to Accounting Administration related.

    Hi,
    Please remember MBA degree is offered by universities, whereas PGDM or PGDBM is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
    Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, so you may pursue any of these course.
    However, please remember while taking admission, your emphasis should be more on taking admission in good universities or institutes.
    You may consider some of the below mentioned points while selecting a institute or university to pursue MBA or PGDM or PGDBM:
    - Accreditation of the institute.
    - Institute's infrastructure.
    - Teaching faculty.
    - Specialization offered.
    - Past placements records.
    - Tuition fees.
    - City preference.
