If u wish to go to a recognized college or university so that college must conduct their entrance exam if it is PRIVATE but if it is GOVT. so jee is the largest and most recognized exam in India.
There r some college which r recently opened they do not conduct examination

The colleges which are recently open are not recognized in India so getting in admission into it is use less
