Decision to go for a private engineering college while seeking a CS family of B Tech.
my son did not score a good rank in JEE Mains (76990). We are considering to go for a decent private engineering college pref in North India. There are so many private engg colleges, could you advise how to make a decision. Our crireria is a good balance of academics + personal (self) development.

Private college is not bad for B.Tech. There are some good private engineering college like LPU and CU where you can get a very good placement if you have talent.
